The Emmy Goes To...
Exciting events continue to develop at Heritage Hill and the membership continues to grow. In October of 2004, Heritage Hill became part of a movie filmed in the Montevideo area. Will Weaver authored a novel titled, A Gravestone Made of Wheat. After reading the novel, movie director Ali Selim was inspired to write a script and produce a movie now titled, Sweet Land. Part of the movie was filmed in the 1920's period that involved a threshing scene. The movie producers called upon Heritage Hill members to fire the steam engine and belt-up the threshing machine for the grain harvest segment of the movie. Many members of MVAFPMA had the opportunity to participate as extras in the movie production.
